  • Introduction of Numerology

The history of numerology is not certain with no confirmed answer as to where it first originated. Egypt and Babylon are considered as the earliest recorded history of numerology. It was here that the Chaldean numerology was developed. There is also evidence that numerology is also used about thousand years ago in China, Rome, Greece and Japan. The credit of modern numerology however, is most often given to the Greek philosopher Pythagoras. The Pythagorean and Chaldean school of numbers are most commonly used. Chaldean numerology is older but Pythagorean numerology is more popular especially in the west. The Chaldean system of numbers better known as Mystic Numerology gives us an even stronger clue to the age of this science. Most of the numerologist especially in advance western countries like America, European use Pythagorean method, but in eastern countries especially in India numerologists use Chaldean numerology, as it is influenced by astrology and planets. Chaldean method is influenced by astrology and each number is associated with a specific planet. It has a lot of logic and science behind it .Each number carries its own vibrations. These numbers are derived from person’s date of birth and person’s name spelling. All these numbers are attached to the person. Each number has its own vibrations and these vibrations influence the behavior, the way of thinking, nature of a person and other qualities of the person. Even the external numbers like House number, Car number, Mobile number, Bank Account number and the spouse numbers have their vibrations and affect the person’s life. Each number is attached with a person for a life time period. Numbers rule the universe and that is absolutely true, numbers are everywhere and everything from the date of birth till the date of death. We cannot imagine a world without numbers!! Numerology is based on both on name calculation and on date calculation are much easier to do then name calculation since they are already in number format and don’t need to be translated from into numbers. Numerology is the study of the mystical relationship between our life and numbers. It is based on the numerical calculation of letters in names, with each letter having a corresponding number in numerology. These numbers can be used to evaluate your personality, life and even predict your future

The different indicators in numerology are:

The date of a person on which he/she is born is called as the driver number for that particular person. Adding two digits to a single total number digit is the driver number of the person. Suppose a person is born on 23rd of any month, than in this case we will add 2+3 and the total comes to 5, so the driver number will be 5. It indicates the overall personality of the person and his thought process.

This is the most critical number in your numerology chart and is calculated using your birth date. It reveals your strengths, weaknesses, challenges, lessons, and events you are likely to face in your lifetime. This number can help you see the path more clearly and spot the opportunities.

  • Where Does Numerology Come From?

The relationship between letters and numbers has existed for a long time. There are many types of numerology systems, of which three are the most popular – the Pythagorean (Western), the Chaldean and the Kabbalah systems. Every system is different in its methods of calculations and gives different interpretations.

  • The Pythagorean (Western) system

Its origins are linked to Pythagoras, the Greek mathematician who is renowned for his hypotenuse solution of a right triangle. It is also the system that Mom Junction uses here.

This system assigns letters of the alphabet to 1-9 numbers and calculates the life or soul number using the chart. The resultant number is reduced to a single digit value as the Pythagorean system works only on single digits.

  • The Chaldean system

Originated in ancient Babylon, this is one of the oldest numerology systems in the world. Here, the numbers assigned to each letter are not as systematic as in the Pythagorean method but are based on the vibrations of a specific letter.

This system uses a formula by assigning letters to the numbers 1 to 8, but no letter is assigned the number 9, which is considered a sacred or holy number. However, nine is accepted as a resultant number, when it comes as a final sum

  • How To Calculate Conductor Number?

  1. Consider your complete birth date. For instance – June,5, 1954
  2. Bring down the month, day and year to a single digit number by adding them.

June, or 6th month

Add 0+6= 6

Day 5

Add 0+5=5

1954 is the year of birth

Add 1+9+5+4=19

Add them further to get a single digit 1+9=10

Add the resultant single digits to get your Conductor  number:

And then further to get a single-digit 1+2=3

Therefore, the  Conductor number is 3.

Note : The only exception to reducing the numbers to single digits is when you end up with 11, 22 and 33, which are called the Master numbers.
